Support for the HCF mostly comes from individual sponsors . Our sponsors generally sponsor an individual child and the fees paid go to cover school fees and accommodation at the Kailash Hostel that is managed and run by HCF. HCF is also supported by our sister Foundation based in the USA - The Himalayan Youth Foundation- that was established in 2002 in order to provide a vehicle through which funding from our friends based in the USA could legally be funneled to support our efforts

The Himalayan Youth Foundation (HYF)  is devoted to the advancement of education of destitute children in the Himalayan region, by providing direct assistance to children in need or supporting other organizations or foundations that are active in the region and have similar objectives.

The Himalayan Youth Foundation actively supports the HCF. This connection gives HCF a much larger exposure in the US and more opportunities to expand

The Mountaineer's for Himalayas Foundation- Andorra

We are very greatful to Oriol Ribas who is President of the Andorran Mountaineering Foundation, Fundacio Muntanyencs per L'Himalaia (MFH) has been a strong supporter of HCF since 2002. The MFH have provided financial help for various projects and currently sponsor 28 children.9 of them who tragically lost their fathers in a helicopter crash in May 2003.
